Recipe for Love by Katie Fford

It's Top Chef set in the English Countryside.  But instead of Padma being the star of the show, we have a delightful contestant and a growing love story.  We also have the villain of the show, the win at all costs, beautiful Cher.  Another difference is these are, for the most part, amateur chefs.

Zoe Harper is the young, sweet contestant who wants to win so she can open a deli.  Cher is the rich, beautiful snob who wants to win so she can become a television star and sabotage is definitely an option.  Gideon Irving is one of the judges and the very pregnant Fenella Gainsborough is hosting the competition at her mansion/hotel which is in transition.

This is the third book by Katie Fford I have enjoyed reading.  She writes of gorgeous countryside locations and her characters are well-drawn and real.  Her plots are all very different and enjoyable.  Recipe for Love does not disappoint the reader.

I was given a copy of this book from NetGalley in return for an honest review.
